Republicans are planning to double interest rates on millions of student loans unless savage cuts are made to women’s health care. It’s like they are trying to pit college students against women’s rights.
Do you think they would ever make billionaires and oil companies fight over their massive tax breaks? Never.
But this is the Republican way. After the 1% gets their spoils, everyone else can fight for the scraps. Never mind the consequences, so long as their billionaire benefactors are protected.
As soon as this week, the Senate will vote on President Obama’s plan. It would keep student loan rates low, protect women’s health care and all paid for by ensuring the wealthy pay their fair share. Will you support President Obama’s bill before this critical vote?
