It is important to have the right MOTIVATED and QUALIFIED candidates down ballot. County Property Appraiser Candidate Rick Singh is such and will be our featured guest this month. Come with your questions about how appraisal works and can get messy. Chat him up!
Finally, it is important for everyone to know that there is a process for electing the Party Leaders, Convention Delegates, etc., every four years. We will review and help you to get into it.
Our First Friday ritual is nearly always this: We meet at 800 Mayfair Cir in Orlando. The event will begin at 6:30pm and run until 9:00pm, but we urge you to be sure to be here by 7:15pm for speeches and remarks by candidates. Then we urge you to hang around and get to know the people who can represent you in public office. Informal. Snacks, drinks and hot-dogs are served.
If you are working with any of the other Democratic Candidates, or people who are thinking about running, please urge them to respond and attend. They are welcome. We will keep you updated and this is your chance to meet face to face. THIS is where activists are born and brought forward.
